The next Friends of the Library Hertha Heller Forum presents Lowell Zoller discussing "Restless Alabama," an explanation of the geological history and formation of what is now Alabama. The program will be Sunday, February 23, at 2 p.m. in the auditorium of the Main Library downtown.
He will give special attention to the limestone understructure, earthquakes and sinkholes. Mr. Zoller retired from Marshall Space Flight Center after 35 years. At retirement he was Associate Director of Science and Engineering.
The final Hertha Heller Forum of the season will be March 23, when Max Rosenthal talks about "The Amazing Hubble Telescope."
