Farewell, Ranee Pruitt

We are truly saddened by our loss of Ranee’ Pruitt. In her 44 years with HMCPL, she touched many lives through her work and spirit, and was a beloved representative of the library in the community. She will be missed.

This Saturday: semi-annual Friends book sale at Tillman Hill

Join the Friends of the Tillman Hill Public Library on Saturday, November 5, 10am to 3pm for a 25 cent book sale.

Used books will be flying off the shelves at the 25 Cents Book Sale in Hazel Green!  There will be a great selection of fiction, non-fiction, text books, children's books and so much more.  Best if all, everything costs a quarter!  The book sale will take place at 131 Knowledge Drive, Hazel Green AL 35750.

Meet Authors Rachel Hawkins and Myra McEntire at Bailey Cove

Join us at the Bailey Cove Library for a night with Rachel Hawkins and Myra McEntire on November 10 at 7:00pm.

Rachel Hawkins is an Alabama author with two very successful books: Hex Hall and Demon Glass.  Her third book in the series, Spell Bound, is set to be released in March 2012.
