The HMCPL is a recipient of the 2009-2010 Huntsville Hospital Community Health Initiative Grant! The Library will use this money to create an attractive collection of information and resources available online, in the library, and in the community which will address the physical, emotional, and mental health of today's teens. The project will be named The Pulse to echo the idea of monitoring and maintaining the health of the Madison County teen population while creating a catchphrase for the teens to use.
Now your library never closes! The Huntsville Library Foundation is pleased to announce the Digital Media Zone--a digital library where HMCPL card holders can browse, check out, and download best-selling and classic audiobooks, ebooks, music and video. The new Digital Media Zone is available any time of day from any computer. And there are never any late fees because titles are automatically returned at the end of the loan period!
