Upcycled Art! It's not just for Teens! Grown-ups put on your Santa hats and scoot to Madison Public Library to create your very own holiday wreath from an old book. We supply the books and materials, you supply the inspiration and creativity. Plan to get started at 6pm on Monday, December 5 at Madison Public Library.
Make an 8” melon basket in class. Learn how to handle reed, make a god’s eye and shape a ribbed basket. Both dyed reed and seagrass will be available for decorating your basket. Those who have made a melon basket before will have the option of making an egg/fanny basket.
No basket making experience is required. Basket making is wet work, so wear old clothes and bring a towel. The leader will bring all the tools and other supplies you’ll need to use during the workshop.
Join us on Thursday, December 8th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. as we create beautiful wreaths from recycled books. Space is limited so please call 256-489-3392 or stop by Monrovia Library to sign up for this event. Read more about Recycled Wreaths
