Join the Friends of the Tillman Hill Public Library on Saturday, November 5, 10am to 3pm for a 25 cent book sale.
Used books will be flying off the shelves at the 25 Cents Book Sale in Hazel Green! There will be a great selection of fiction, non-fiction, text books, children's books and so much more. Best if all, everything costs a quarter! The book sale will take place at 131 Knowledge Drive, Hazel Green AL 35750.
Beautiful weather set the stage for an amazing Garden Opening yesterday at Madison Public Library. The efforts of countless community donors and volunteers brought this project to a well-received debut. Several hundred library customers explored the interactive learning space taking delight in unexpected surprises at every turn. Mayor Paul Finley and city council representatives were on hand to assist Kristen Kulavich in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Swing by MPL today for a preview of the newly installed Windmill in the Children's Garden. Its brightly colored petals are made from recycled metals and bring elements of energy and motion to the garden project.
