They'll talk about the events that happened in Birmingham in 1963 (in a child friendly way, of course), tell you about the BCRI, and help the kids play a Tug of War object lesson about equality. This Virtual Field Trip is perfect for homeschooling families with kids in grades K-5. Read more about A Virtual Field Trip to the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute
This program, appropriate for all ages, features a re-enactment of famous abolitionist Harriet Tubman by local actor, Renee Mobley. At the end of the performance she hosts a question and answer session where children and their families can ask questions about Harriet Tubman, history, and the civil rights movement.
