Bond...James Bond: The Connery Years - From Russia With Love

The adaptation of the James Bond books by Ian Fleming in the 1960’s spawned a franchise (and adventure-seeking fantasy for spy lovers everywhere) that has continued to this day. We will view the first four films of the series with the actor that invented the character on film, Sean Connery, at the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.

From Russia With Love (1963) Sean Connery, with Robert Shaw, Lotte Lenya. James Bond willingly plays along with a scheme involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by SPECTRE.

All films will be shown in the second floor events of the Main Library at 6:00 PM.
