Earring findings will be provided. If you have metal allergies or don’t have pierced ears, bring your own earwires/earring findings. It would be helpful to be familiar with working with thread and needle. No beading experience is required. If you have sharp embroidery scissors, bring them. The leader will bring all the other tools and supplies you’ll need to use during the workshop.

Learn to make a lacy, ruffled scarf on an 8-peg spool knitter. It's easy to use novelty yarns on these looms. Bring a skein of "ruffle" yarn (Red Heart Sashay is one brand), your own 8-peg knitting spool (one end of the "Jumbo Spool Knitter") and "pick". Artists and artisans from Madison County’s craft guilds will present demonstrations and works from their members during a Craft Expo on Saturday, January 11, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Main Library downtown.
There will be live music as well as food and craft items for purchase. Admission is free.

Huntsville-Madison County Public Library is sponsoring a “Love in the Library” Valentine Fair on Saturday, January 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. The Valentine Fair will be in the Main Library Auditorium, 915 Monroe Street. The event is free of charge and no registration is required.
Romance writers will be on hand to meet readers and sign books. Craft vendors will demonstrate Valentine goodies you can make for your special someone. A selection of writers will present readings and music.
